This is a truly epic picture. I really like how you made the scars, in order to make him look like a ancient, well-worn battle machine. I also really like the nose and chin for some reason; they help make him look less cartoony and more badass. Whereas the original nose and chin were rounded and cute, this new combo makes him look just plain brutal. I also particularly like the flames in the margin. They look insanely realistic, and the way they cast a glow on bowser's face really helps the atmosphere. Yet another incredible bit is the eyes. Gleaming, they seem to stare into your very soul.
I honestly think that bowser is related to Satan now. To all those Mario haters who whine about how bowser couldn't possibly be scary in a million years, this terrifyingly realistic portrait is your answer. Seriously, its like it's a window to another dimension, thats how clear it is.
My only, near-microscopic complaint is that there are already hundreds of bowser pics on due art, more then a few trying to be realistic and terrifying. I am not exaggerating at all, though, when I say this tops them all, by far.
F***ING EPIC!!! It looks as though a movie is coming out and that hard stone Bowser is just amazing! Yeah, Bowser is my favorite video game villian as you could see, but that's not why I'm giving this critique out. Bowser looks like he's made of stone and is a very neat picture. The face on him looks awesome and looks like he's ready for battle. Making him look like he is made of bronze, metal, and iron makes him look even better. Plus, you were still able to keep the fire blazing on him keeping him in character. This picture makes a whole lot of epic win and deserves a perfect 10.
